Watch It (When You Want)

If you wanted to check out that movie, “I’ll Be Watching,” but don’t have the Lifetime Movie Network … my parents actually discovered you can rent it/buy it through Vudu.

WARNING: newer actors and models

For decades I have warned newer actors about being careful of what contracts they sign. Doing nonunion commercial work that requires you sign a contract in perpetuity (for life) can pay a little in the short run, but more damaging, it may hurt future earnings for ALL ACTORS AND… that little job take you out of doing a larger better paying job later.

Imagine if years ago Tom Hanks or Meryl Streep did an in perpetuity spot for a car company… then became famous. The company could run the hell out of that spot… for decades and those actors would probably receive no extra money, EVER! Also, future employers might not want to hire you because you get known as the actor from that spot or you have a conflict forever.

Or like this example…

Models doing modeling for a stock photo company. Agreeing to sign over their rights to their image, with no control over who uses it and for what.

I suppose there is one or two people in the world who actually enjoy having their image attached to anything and not being compensated fairly… but for most performers/actors I know — we would like to be compensated justly for our work and know ahead of tome what we are helping to promote or sell.

I’m just saying… be smart and protect yourself. Last thing I would want is any political party putting words I never said into my mouth by using my image.

Episode Two – 2 Million

Yesterday, Tuesday at 3 PM, episode two was launched on Brat’s YouTube platform, and I am happy to announce that Russell Fitzroy has made his 1st appearance.

I do not exactly know which episodes he will be in from now on other than the finale, but he will be throughout. A new episode released each Tuesday at 3PM, for next few weeks.

  • 16 hours after being posted, Episode Two already has 700,000+ views…
  • Episode One, released last week, has over 2 million…
  • And the Brat channel now has 2 million+ subscribers! — Congratulations Brat!

And if you’re only initially interested in seeing my character/work, in episode two, you can see that here on an unlisted YouTube video… https://youtu.be/gLoo4Jedu4Q

Episode 1 was released. 1 million views in 1st 24 hours!

Well, my character did not make an appearance in #1… so I assume everyone will meet Russell Fitzroy in episode two. What is awesome however — is that within the first 24 hours of being released on YouTube — there were over 1 million views.

Over 1 million viewers in the first 24 hours!

I believe Episode Two will be released next week at the same time, but don’t hold me to it. Tuesday? 3 PM? And then over the next few weeks they will roll out the entire series? I really don’t know.

Watch Episode One now or wait and to watch them all later. Episode One is 21 minutes. Most of the comments on YouTube seem to be very positive.

“A Girl Named Jo” – Premieres July 3rd

The Brat model seems to be shoot fast, get it out fast… don’t lose momentum, then shoot more. With that said, I’m told, the series A GIRL NAMED JO is set to premiere on the BRAT channel on YouTube in a week. The show revolves around the two leads Annie LeBlanc and Addison Riecke and their high school chums, but I’ll make appearances throughout the series as one of their fathers.
