While writing books, screenplays, and acting in “bigger” projects, with “bigger,” “more important” roles as an actor is my ultimate goal, I’ve been so very fortunate that doing commercials has been my “survival job” for a while now.
Writing isn’t easy, but I enjoy the heck out of it. Screenplays and books take years to write, but it helps keep me positive as I express creatively between acting or singing gigs.
Promoting books and screenplays is another thing… I find it challenging, and I don’t particularly enjoy the process at all.
That said, as many of you know my newest novel Park Ranger Park is now listed on Amazon.com, pre-order for Kindle and paperbacks are now available.
If you already made a paperback purchase or pre-ordered a Kindle of Park Ranger Park, THANK YOU!!!
If you’re planning on purchasing a copy in the future, please consider doing it before February 10th, as that will help show a spike in sales on Amazon (if enough people pre-purchase) and I can use all the help I can get.
If we’re friends, family, or acquaintances, and you’d like to read the book, but you don’t have the cash for a paperback, or don’t read Kindle (for whatever reason)… until Feb 10th, I’d be willing to EMAIL you a watermarked PDF (with your name), if you make a Kindle or paperback purchase on Amazon. Please request a PDF by text, email, or direct message on social media along with snapshot of your receipt with email address.
By purchasing on Amazon you become a verified purchaser and your future, potential review becomes more weighted.
If you want to continue to support my endeavors on this marathon (my career), or give me a shot in the arm, but hate reading, consider purchasing a paperback or Kindle version, and giving it to a friend (or friends) or a lending library…
Again, if you already made a paperback purchase or pre-ordered a Kindle, THANK YOU!!!! If want to start reading immediately, I’d also be willing to email you a watermarked PDF copy, so that you can possibly start reading today, and hopefully post an early, positive review on Amazon.
I’m always open to marketing suggestions… Early reviews may be used to help promote the book, and I could always use your help spreading word about the book. Strong Amazon sales would only lead to good things down the road. Whether it’s more books, future movie or screenplay deals/roles, or national exposure.
Lastly, like with Sympathy For The Devil, if you purchase a paperback copy, or a kindle… PLEASE consider taking a picture of the book (or your tablet), and posting it on social media with hashtags… #parkrangerpark, #tomkiesche, along with whatever other hashtags you feel are appropriate (#excited, #fantasy, #kindle…) Feel free to be in the picture, or just have the book or tablet positioned where you’re reading it. Whatever you want to do! I loved getting all the photos of Sympathy for the Devil. Hopefully I get even more photos from people with Park Ranger Park copies.
Thank you for your encouragement, help, and ideas!
Below are a few of the flyers and promotional materials already out there, again, I’m open to ideas… Big thanks to pre-readers for all their help, including… Jack for coming up with the “something” idea… Sandra for helping with book description, Bob for coming up with rogue park rangers tie in ideas, Fe for bouncing ideas off constantly, Wayne for Facebook promoting idea, Loc for promoting to his followers.
Plus thank you to future readers, my sister Barb, Michael, Todd and others I may have missed, for passing postings about the novel on to their social media before they’ve read it. I truly appreciate the help!
If you’ve been reading me you’ve seen dozens of pictures of hikes off of Chantry Flats, especially to Sturtevant Falls… well, today I’m posting a few more.
This morning was a glorious time to hike, not at all hot, not cold, just right. The water level was enough to get the bottoms of our boots wet upon a few crossings, and the falls roared with cascading water.
This is one of my favorite hikes, one of the hikes that started me thinking of the story of Park Ranger Park years ago…
Today along our trek, to the falls, and then looping above the falls, we tracked a number of things that I thought would be fun for anyone reading the book, though I know the paperback was just released on AMAZON and the Kindle isn’t due out till Feb 10th.
HOWEVER, maybe after you see this blog post, and then read the book later, you will realize why I took certain pictures… although most of the shots are obviously just for fun.
Take a hike, read a book… maybe bring Park Ranger Park to a waterfall with you, and read it there.
With some “spunky” Park Rangers going rogue all around the country, I can’t help but wonder what Park Ranger Park would do. While Park Ranger Timothy Larkin Park is a fictional character, and is completely unknown by the public at this point… I can’t help but wonder. I am all for freedom of speech, and against oppression by governments.
To get around threats and gag order this week there have been alt pages popping up all over Twitter…
Officially, the novel Park Ranger Parkreleases on Kindle on Feb 10th, timed with the Hunger Moon of February, but you can now order paperbacks through AMAZON.com or CREATESPACE.com in order to get them in your hands around the same time.
Click each link below to see which format or ordering platform might work out best for you, I’m told the novel should be available in many countries. My paperback copies were printed in the USA. Hey look at that, once again, with Amazon, CreateSpace, Kindle… I’m not only a writer and storyteller, but I’m also a job creator!
Today the proof for the paperback version of Park Ranger Park was approved on Create Space. In approximately 5 days it should be live on Amazon, and if you order it soon after the links are live, they may have it to you by the Kindle launch date of Feb 10th (to coincide with the February full moon, otherwise known as the Bone or Hunger Moon.)
BUT, if you want to be one of the first people to order and receive a paperback copy… you are able to order directly from CREATE SPACE.
I just ordered a few copies and received an approximate delivery date of February 6th.
Estimated Delivery Date: Mon, Feb 06, 2017
Just so you know you may save on delivery charges if you wait till Amazon (especially if you have Prime), but if being one of the first people to order the book is important to you… or you want to get it before anyone, feel free to order through the printing company.
Either way, I really just want to get stories out to the public, to share and entertain. Thank you for your support of my creative endeavors. I look forward to hearing from you that you ordered it. That you’re reading it. But most of all, that you enjoyed it!
– Quiche Out
PS. It was great to see printed on the bottom of the back page, where and when it was published… If getting a paperback with one of the earliest dates printed on it is important to you… order today.
The projected 416 page paperback (Park Ranger Park) will be pricer and is currently unable to be pre-ordered. However, we do hope to have the issue figured out soon, and at least have it online, ready to be ordered around the same time as the Kindle launch on Feb 10th.
We hope you’ll be among the first to readPark Ranger Park, we hope you enjoy it, review it positively, and then help spread the word about it to anyone that might enjoy it.
Thank you for your support in all my creative endeavors always.
