Just Raise That Board 400 Feet

Honestly I have never had issue with knowing what “raising the stakes” meant in scene/acting work… However, last night, Lindsay Frame explained it to her students (Anthony Meindl’s Actor’s Workshop) in a very interesting way… I’ll paraphrase… “Imagine there’s a two foot wide board, and you’re asked to walk to cross it, or spin, or dance on it… No big deal, right? It’s no longer “becoming ridiculous…”

It’s no longer “becoming ridiculous,” we are living the fully ridiculous. I posted this “experience” on my Facebook today.  “Love these big corporations… They make errors. They put us on hold.
